Stillwater boasts a wide variety of parks offering beautifully landscaped grounds, gardens and spectacular views of the city and the St. Croix River – perfect for a romantic picnic for two. Rivertown Inn's Picnic in the Park package features a delicious gourmet picnic lunch prepared by our chef. We will pack everything in our beautiful hand-woven picnic basket for you to enjoy. This package includes a picnic lunch for two, bottle of sparkling water, the use of Rivertown Inn's picnic basket with all necessary accoutrements, a blanket and directions to local parks.
A bottle of wine or champagne may be included for an additional fee.
When reserving our Picnic in the Park package, please specify which menu you would like to enjoy:
1st Course (choose one): Mixed Green Salad with strawberries, goat cheese, candied walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette, OR Chopped Romaine, cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, croutons, cheddar cheese and ranch dressing, OR Fresh Fruit Salad with a mix of seasonal fruits and a honey lime vinaigrette
2nd Course (choose one): Turkey on a toasted hoagie bun with a chipotle aioli, bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato, OR Roast Beef on a toasted hoagie bun with horseradish cream cheese, lettuce and tomato, OR Portobello mushrooms on grilled ciabatta with hummus and alfalfa sprouts
3rd Course: Chef's choice of housemade cookies.
